Your First Visit
We care about your dental health, and will listen to your concerns. After a careful examination, we will talk about a course of treatment. You can ask questions and make decisions without being rushed or pressured. Sometimes we can treat the same day as the initial appointment. However, if your treatment plan is more detailed, we may need to schedule a return visit.
Here’s what you need to bring on your first visit:
- Primary care physician name and phone number.
- Any x-rays if applicable.
- A list of medications you are presently taking, and why.
- If you have medical or dental insurance, your insurance cards.
IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.
If you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to dental surgery (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.), or if you require medication prior to dental cleanings (i.e. antibiotics for pre-med) please alert the office.
If a dentist or physician has taken x-rays within the last 6 months, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there’s not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility.
Please call one of our convenient offices with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
